Fees & Services

I prefer to work on a fixed-fee basis. This means that I will quote you one price for the work you and I agree I will perform. If you would like me to perform additional work, I will give you another quote for that work, and you decide whether you would like to hire me to perform that work, also.

This system works well where it’s clear up front what the situation is and what we need to do – for example, in most estate planning and administration cases.  In some cases (usually where I am responding to an immediate problem), it’s hard for me to know what I will have to do and how much time will be required to address the issue.  In those cases, I bill using an hourly rate.  The rate fluctuates depending on the services I provide: administrative and clerical services (such as preparing tax returns) are billed at $75 per hour; legal services are billed at $150 per hour.

I bill my clients for direct costs I incur, including notary’s fees and extraordinary mailing costs.
